Recipe: Superfood Smoothie – Blueberry & Almond Butter

We make salmon superfood snacks, but all superfoods that taste good are great.  This blueberry-almond butter protein smoothie is a favorite, pre- or post-workout.  Perfect after a trail run, but try it after any activity requiring some energy!

Blend the following.  Use the best quality natural ingredients for best results.

1 c frozen blueberries

2 T almond butter

1 banana

1 apple

1 scoop whey protein

4 cups milk (use water or milk substitutes as desired)
